Harry Potter star Coltrane will be joined at the opening ceremony by more than 2,000 past and current students, staff and friends of GSA.<br />
A new choral work, Making it New, with music by composer Ken Johnston and words from Scotland's Makar, and former GSA student, Liz Lochhead, will be premiered at the event. <br />
Scottish writer and broadcaster Muriel Gray, a former student and current chairwoman of the GSA board of directors, will sing in the performance. <br />
